Meet L. Ann

Author of romance with bite, baggage, and no easy way out.

L. Ann is a UK-based author living in Derbyshire with her family, two dogs, three cats, and the entirely correct opinion that the cats are better. She writes books for a living, which sounds way more respectable than the reality of a thousand open tabs, dozens of half-finished notes, and at least three fictional problems causing trouble at all times. She has more ideas than she can ever realistically finish, and gets far too attached to complicated characters making terrible decisions. Most of her time is spent writing, thinking about writing, and vanishing into research rabbit holes for a detail that may only make it onto the page for half a sentence.

When she isn't buried in book things, she runs mainly on lattes, rock music, and spite. She loves live gigs on an almost spiritual level, believes cupcakes can improve most situations, and has a completely normal obsession with Can Yaman, by which she means not normal at all.

She would like everyone to know that she is not organised, has never been organised, and at this point has accepted that feral chaos gremlin is less a phase and more a permanent working environment she thrives in.
