There are beings in this world that, if humanity had any idea they were real, they would never close their eyes and sleep easily again. Fairy tales told to children have evolved over the centuries, and the warnings contained within them have been forgotten. Now they are merely stories to entertain, no longer a means of education to help avoid the monsters who live amongst them.

Fairy tales may have changed with the times, and humans may have forgotten, but the monsters? No, they remember. And they continue to live amongst unsuspecting mortals, adapting to the changing world.

Always hunting. Stalking their prey. Feeding from their fear and flesh.

When was the last time you checked beneath your bed or closed your closet door before settling down to sleep?
